Passports

Gray County Register of Deeds Office is an official Passport Acceptance Agency for the U.S. Department of State.

As a passport acceptance agent we accept the application, verify the given information and assimilate the required information with the appropriate fees. Then it is sent to the U.S. Department of State where they will issue or deny the passport request.

To request an application you may come into our office or download the application from the web site www.travel.state.gov. With the completed application, you must bring in an original birth certificate, drivers license, and passport photos. Two checks are required for payment. We must see all passport applicants. For a person under 16, both parents must sign and show their drivers license.
