Gray County in Cimarron, KS is accepting applications and resumes for a full-time PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE/ADMINISTRATOR
This is a highly skilled administrative and professional public health nurse/administrator position, which assumes the overall direction, supervision and management of the Health Department subject to the policy and approval of the Gray County Commission. The work involves participating in planning, organizing and directing the public health services, coordinating and networking with other organizations and services, developing and interpreting policies and procedures and maintaining acceptable standards; supervision of community programs to provide health promotion, education and services. Applicant is in charge of all employees of the Health Department and will provide direct nursing services for clients in the office including immunizations, family planning, women infants and children (WIC) program, child and adult health programs. Licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the State of Kansas is required. Gray County offers a benefit package including retirement, health, dental, vision insurance and paid sick/vacation.
