Charge for copies of documents is $1.00 per page. Charge for copies of Index Pages $3.00 per page.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Register of Deeds Office is to preserve and maintain the land records of Gray County Kansas. Transactions involving real estate, such as deeds, mortgages, easements, oil and gas leases, affidavits, liens, UCC's and plats are recorded and maintained in this office. Indexing access make it easy for the public to locate documents. Copies of any documents are made for a small fee.
These documents are retained in our vault, as well as microfilmed and stored at the Underground Storage Salt Mines, located in Hutchinson, Kansas.
